Easy indoor herb gardening

Ha, I say.

Started genovese basil and Italian parsley today – for winter eating or so I thought. Now that I’ve read the pack – parsley takes 78 days to mature. April, here we come.

Oh, started a celery root. All the rage. Under the lights it is really taking off.

Brita filters have active charcoal and something like pumice in them which make a great starting medium. Watch your fingers!

First day of spring – 2021!

Spring arrived. In a box. 50 Jonquil daffodils, 5 cloves of porcelain Music garlic and five mix giant alliums. $75. Thanks Veseys.

We’re in for a week of grey and rain so I got them all in over the past two days. No frost yet!

The alliums went in on 84. The garlic went in where the summer composter was in the veg bed. And seven new daffodil spots. Can never has to many daffodils.
