No such signs of spring in my yard unless you count the periwinkle which is flowering and which I’ve recently discovered is invasive and shouldn’t have been planted in the first place! I planted 50 tulip bulbs last fall and frankly they look pathetic. We’ll see. Snow tonight. Sigh. You must be having fun!!

You’re so right. The tulips I planted last year are making a pathetic showing so far – all green and few signs of flower buds. And the two pots of daffs I tried to force did nothing. Glad the existing bulbs have come up pretty strong. Yes the periwinkle is pretty. I too will be pulling a bunch of it out after it flowers. Once it gets established, look out. Kinda like mint, but I don’t mind the mint cause it smells good in the process. I’ll be out like a mad man putting old sheets over my northern kiwi. They have started to bloom and last year’s cold spell killed off all the flowers.
