This little patch of daffodils is always among the first to emerge and every year it’s always exciting!

What a gorgeous day. Pruned the honeysuckle back to the top of the chain link. Did a nip and tuck on the dogwood, and the burning bush and cleaned up the remnants from last year’s cascade hops crop. Of course cut through the extension cord with the electric hedge trimmers. A sure sign of the start of the season.

The first hazelnut blossom. Those little red hairs. So exciting for something so tiny!
