Happy Mothers Day

Been a busy spring, but lo and behold on the early planting weekend, my upper back is talking back. (Insert sad face)

Good day for a photo update:

Fences first.

Great to have them in. Hopefully done for a long, long time. Richard, Astrid’s brother really made a major difference. His first fence and mine too.

Thirty post holes and 1000kg of concrete.  Cedar ain’t cheap, but looks and smells amazing.

Of course I always get excited about the apple blossoms.  Sprayed all the apples with BTK today, then we had a minute of rain.  Now sun! Of course the crab apple is more resistant, but still some minor insects. And one guest star, on the blooming Haskaps, a mud bee.

And for my mother on Mother’s Day. The rhubarb from April 19 and then today on May 8.
